Step-by-Step Instructions
Find a Starting Letter
Look at the 4×4 grid of letters. Think of a word you can spell using adjacent tiles. Tap or click your starting letter to begin.
Connect Adjacent Tiles
Continue selecting letters that are adjacent to your last selection. You can move horizontally, vertically, or diagonally — all 8 directions are valid!
Submit Your Word
Once you've spelled a word (minimum 4 letters), submit it. Valid words are added to your found words list and you earn points!
Keep Finding Words
There's no time limit! Take your time to find as many words as possible. The same letters can be used in different words.
Key Rules
- ✓Minimum 4 letters — Shorter words don't count
- ✓Adjacent tiles only — Each letter must touch the previous one
- ✓Use each tile once per word — But you can reuse tiles in different words
- ✓8 directions allowed — Up, down, left, right, and all diagonals
- ✗No proper nouns — Names, places, and brands aren't accepted

- •Start with common prefixes like UN-, RE-, PRE- and suffixes like -ING, -ED, -ER
- •Look for S tiles to make plurals of words you've already found
- •Try rotating your mental perspective — words can go in any direction
- •Use the hints feature when stuck to see word patterns you might be missing
- •Focus on longer words first — they're worth much more points
Using the Rotate Feature
Stuck? Try rotating the board! The rotate button spins the entire grid 90 degrees. This fresh perspective often helps you spot words you couldn't see before.
Tip: Many players find new words after just one rotation. It's like looking at the puzzle with fresh eyes!
